Ketamine
Ketamine is a safe, effective, legal treatment.
Ketamine has been used as an FDA-approved anesthetic since 1970. It has many indications, including use among children in emergency and operating rooms. What makes ketamine unique is that it acts a dissociative as well as a psychedelic. Ketamine is being prescribed off-label to treat depression, anxiety, chronic pain, PTSD and other mental health-related conditions. When used this way, Ketamine is administered at very small doses that can immediately produce antidepressant effects. Ketamine metabolizes quickly and is short acting, yet it allows one to access different planes of consciousness similar to other classical psychedelic medicines. The advantage is shorter and more manageable therapy sessions.

Ketamine-assisted therapy
Ketamine-assisted therapy blends psychopharmacology with the power of relational, and insight-oriented therapy. This modality can bring vitality, creativity, and joy back into your world. It is important that prospective clients do not see this treatment as a magic bullet. While many clients do experience profound shifts, it is typical to continue therapy, and to expect growth to be incremental over time.
The session
Medicine sessions are typically 2.5 hours. This allows time to settle in and to come out of the experience mindfully. The effects typically come on within 15-25 minutes. We provide eye-shades and headphones with curated music to help you go inward. Clients recline and relax, always with a therapist by your side.
