Ketamine
Ketamine is a safe, effective, legal treatment.
Ketamine has been safely used as an FDA-approved anesthetic since 1970, including in children during surgeries and emergency care. Unique in its action, it functions both as a dissociative and a psychedelic. Today, it is prescribed off-label in low doses to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, and other mental health conditions, often producing rapid antidepressant effects. Because ketamine is fast-acting and metabolizes quickly, it offers access to altered states of consciousness similar to classical psychedelics, while allowing for shorter, more manageable therapy sessions.

Ketamine-assisted therapy
Ketamine-assisted therapy blends psychopharmacology with the power of relational, and insight-oriented therapy. This modality can bring vitality, creativity, and joy back into your world. It is important that prospective clients do not see this treatment as a magic bullet. While many clients do experience profound shifts, it is typical to continue therapy, and to expect growth to be incremental over time.
The session
Medicine sessions are typically 2.5 hours. This allows time to settle in and to come out of the experience mindfully. The effects typically come on within 15-25 minutes. We provide eye-shades and headphones with curated music to help you go inward. Clients recline and relax, always with a therapist by your side.
